Meet Dr. Joshi
Neha Joshi, DDS
Dr. Joshi believes exceptional dentistry begins with listening, understanding, and building trust. Since taking ownership of Diablo Valley Dentistry in Pleasant Hill in 2026, she has focused on preserving the practice’s longstanding tradition of personalized care while thoughtfully incorporating new approaches to enhance the patient experience. She is proud to continue working alongside the same friendly team patients have come to know and trust.
Originally trained in India, Dr. Joshi graduated from dental school in 2014 and spent the next four years gaining experience in diverse clinical settings, from rural community outreach programs to a private multispecialty practice. After moving to the United States in 2018, she remained connected to dentistry through volunteer work in Kentucky and later in San Francisco, where she contributed to teaching, research, and dental assisting. She subsequently completed UCSF’s International Dentist Pathway program. Her experience caring for patients in underserved communities in Sonoma County and private practices in Marin County has given her a broad perspective on the diverse needs and expectations of the people she serves.
These experiences have shaped her approach to dentistry: patient-centered, evidence-based, preventive, and minimally invasive. Dr. Joshi emphasizes identifying the underlying causes of dental problems, preserving natural teeth whenever possible, and recommending treatment that aligns with each patient’s individual needs and best interests. Her clinical interests include Invisalign, smile design, cosmetic dentistry, and surgical procedures such as extractions and dental implant placement. She also pursues continuing education to stay current with advances in dental techniques and technology.
At Diablo Valley Dentistry, Dr. Joshi takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explain treatment options clearly, and develop care plans collaboratively. Her goal is to help patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their care while building a foundation for lasting oral health.
As she guides the practice into its next chapter, Dr. Joshi looks forward to continuing to care for longtime patients and welcoming new individuals and families. She is committed to building on the practice’s strong foundation while continually improving comfort, patient satisfaction, and long-term outcomes.
Outside the office, Dr. Joshi enjoys reading, exploring nature, and discovering films and television shows from different cultures. She especially cherishes time with her husband, who is also a dentist, and their young daughter.
